Assignment #4 - Six Minute English

BBC Learning English - 6 Minute English - "Life on Mars"

The 160303rd episode of 6 Minute English is titled "Life on Mars" and it discussed the possibility of humans living on Mars. This is an intriguing topic as Mars is similar to the Earth in some important ways. So, if life is developed on our planet, why not Mars?
The major reasons are probably because Mars is a cold planet - the average temperature of Mars would be around minus 63-degree celsius. Moreover, liquid water is essential for life, but it is very dry on Mars. However, scientists think that there may have been water on the surface of Mars in the past, and recent research also suggests that there might be water underground. One interesting thing is that as primitive life exists in extreme places on Earth, scientists think that life may exist on Mars too.

#1 Assignment - Greetings

Hi. I am Cynthia. This blog is created because I am required to set up my own personal blog for the Computer Assisted Language Learning course that I am taking this semester. My future posts will cover a wide and different range of stuff - but mostly, or most probably, entirely - will consist of the assignments for this course. I would not post anything personal, though. This blog is simply a platform for me to learn and improve my English skills.
Thank you and have a good day.
